August 8, 2019 8:06 AM EDTMotorcar Parts of America (NASDAQ: MPAA) reported Q1 EPS of $0.09, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.10. Revenue for the quarter came in at $108.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $106.08 million.
Net sales for the fiscal 2020 first quarter increased 19.1 percent to $109.1 million from $91.7 million for the same period a year earlier, reflecting sales increases for both hard parts and diagnostic products.Adjusted net sales for the fiscal 2020 first quarter increased 15.7 percent to $108.6 million from $93.8 million a year earlier.The results for the quarter and gross margin were primarily impacted by four items totaling...
