The Mosaic Company (MOS) Misses Q2 EPS by 17c, Revenues Miss; Offers FY19 EPS Guidance Below Consensus
August 6, 2019 6:11 AM EDTThe Mosaic Company (NYSE: MOS) reported Q2 EPS of $0.12, $0.17 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.29. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.18 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.31 billion.
Mosaic reported a net loss of $233 million for the second quarter of 2019, including a $284 million noncash after-tax charge for the permanent closure of the companys Plant City phosphate facility.The company reported diluted earnings per share (EPS) of negative $0.60, which includes a negative $0.72 per share impact for notable items, primarily the closure of the Plant City facility.For the period, adjusted...
