Stericycle (SRCL) Misses Q2 EPS by 27c, Revenues Beat; Offers FY19 EPS Guidance Below Consensus, Affirms FY19 Revenue Outlook
August 1, 2019 7:15 AM EDTStericycle (NASDAQ: SRCL) reported Q2 EPS of $0.56, $0.27 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.83. Revenue for the quarter came in at $845.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $843.9 million.
SECOND QUARTER FINANCIAL RESULTS
Revenues for the quarter ended June 30, 2019 were $845.8 million, compared to $883.3 million in the second quarter of last year. Macroeconomic factors, including the effect of foreign exchange rates and SOP pricing, reduced revenues by $20.6 million and $8.7 million, respectively.
