Prudential Financial (PRU) Misses Q2 EPS by 9c

Prudential Financial (NYSE: PRU) reported Q2 EPS of $3.14, $0.09 worse than the analyst estimate of $3.23.

Net income attributable to Prudential Financial of $708 million or $1.71 per Common share versus $197 million or $0.46 per share for the year-ago quarter.
