Littelfuse (LFUS) Misses Q2 EPS by 5c, Revenues Miss; Offers Q3 EPS/Revenue Guidance Below Consensus
July 31, 2019 6:09 AM EDTLittelfuse (NASDAQ: LFUS) reported Q2 EPS of $1.91, $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.96. Revenue for the quarter came in at $397.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $408.84 million.
Net sales of $397.9 million were down 13% versus the prior year period, and down 11% organically, primarily due to ongoing global trade uncertainties, continued efforts by distribution partners to reduce excess electronics channel inventories and further declines in global auto production, especially in ChinaSegment performance versus the prior year...
