 DALLAS, TEXAS.May 8, 2019. Kronos Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: KRO) today reported net income of $30.3 million, or $.26 per share, in the first quarter of 2019 compared to net income of $70.7 million, or $.61 per share, in the first quarter of 2018. We reported lower net income in the first quarter of 2019 as compared to the first quarter of 2018 primarily due to lower income from operations resulting from the net effect of lower average selling prices, higher sales and production volumes and higher raw materials and other production costs, as discussed...
