Garmin reports first quarter revenue and profit growth

Highlights for the first quarter 2019 include:
Record first quarter revenue of $766 million, an 8% increase, with marine, aviation, fitness and outdoor collectively increasing 12% over the prior year quarter Gross margin of 59.0% compared to 60.0% in the prior year quarter Operating margin of 19.8% compared to 20.0% in the prior year quarter Operating income of $151 million, increasing 6% over the prior year quarter...
