Valley National Bancorp Reports Increased First Quarter Net Income, Solid Loan Growth and Operational Efficiency
April 25, 2019 8:01 AM EDTWAYNE, N.J., April 25, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Valley National Bancorp (NASDAQ:VLY), the holding company for Valley National Bank, today reported net income for the first quarter of 2019 of $113.3 million, or $0.33 per diluted common share, as compared to the first quarter of 2018 earnings of $42.0 million, or $0.12 per diluted common share, and net income of $77.1 million, or $0.22 per diluted common share, for the fourth quarter of 2018.
