Scholastic Corp (SCHL) Misses Q3 EPS by 5c, Revenues Miss; Offers FY19 EPS Guidance Above Consensus, FY19 Revenue Mid-Point Guidance Below Consensus
March 21, 2019 4:05 PM EDTScholastic Corp (NASDAQ: SCHL) reported Q3 EPS of ($0.32), $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.27). Revenue for the quarter came in at $360.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $371.1 million.
Richard Robinson, Scholastic Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer commented: "Consolidated revenue in the seasonally lower third quarter was up 4% over the prior year, keeping us on course to achieve our sales targets for fiscal 2019.
