Tactile Systems Technology, Inc. Reports Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2018 Financial Results; Introduces 2019 Outlook

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., Feb. 28, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tactile Systems Technology, Inc. (Tactile Medical) (Nasdaq: TCMD), a medical technology company focused on developing medical devices for the treatment of chronic diseases at home, today reported financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2018.  

Full Year 2018 Summary:

Full year 2018 revenue increased 32% year-over-year, to $143.8 million, compared to $109.3 million in 2017.Flexitouch revenue increased 31% year-over-year, to $131.9 million, compared to $100.3 million in 2017.Operating income decreased 23% year-over-year to $3.0 million, compared to operating income of $3.9 million in 2017.
