Gray Television (GTN) Announces Sale of WCAV/WVAW; Agrees to Purchase WVIR in Charlottesville, VA
March 4, 2019 11:02 AM ESTGray Television, Inc. (NYSE: GTN) announced today that we have entered into agreements to sell our Charlottesville, Virginia, television stations WCAV (CBS/FOX) and WVAW (ABC) to an affiliate of Lockwood Broadcasting, Inc. and to acquire WVIR (NBC) in Charlottesville from Waterman Broadcasting Corporation.
