Ross Stores Reports Third Quarter Earnings, Updates Fourth Quarter Guidance
November 20, 2018 8:30 AM ESTDUBLIN, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Ross Stores, Inc. (Nasdaq: ROST) today reported earnings per share for the third quarter ended November 3, 2018 of $.91, versus $.72 for the 13 weeks ended October 28, 2017. Net earnings grew to $338 million, up from $274 million in the prior year. Third quarter sales rose 7% to $3.5 billion, with comparable store sales up 3% over the 13 weeks ended November 4, 2017. This compares to last years same store sales gain of 4% for the 13 weeks ended October 28, 2017.
