Roku (ROKU) Set to Open Lower by 5.5% on Amazon Concerns
August 29, 2018 7:14 AM EDTRoku (NASDAQ: ROKU) was set to open lower Wednesday amid concerns about competition from Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) following reports yesterday that Amazon will launch an ad-supported video service for Fire TV users.
Shares edged lower by 2% following the report yesterday but weakness extended pre-market, with shares now down about 5.5%.
