Loews Corporation Reports Net Income Of $230 Million For The Second Quarter Of 2018
July 30, 2018 6:01 AM EDTNEW YORK, July 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Loews Corporation (NYSE: L) today reported net income for the three months ended June 30, 2018 of $230 million, or $0.72 per share, compared to $231 million, or $0.69 per share, in the prior year period. Net income for the six months ended June 30, 2018 was $523 million, or $1.61 per share, compared to $526 million, or $1.56 per share, in the prior year period. The increased earnings per share for the quarter and year to date periods reflect share repurchase activity in 2017 and 2018.
