(Reuters) - Advanced Micro Devices Inc (NASDAQ: AMD) beat estimates for quarterly profit and revenue on Wednesday, as a rare surge in demand for personal computers boosted sales of its processors, graphic chips, sending its shares up 5 percent in extended trading.
