UMB Financial Corporation Reports Second Quarter Income from Continuing Operations of $55.4 Million or $1.11 Per Diluted Share
July 24, 2018 5:00 PM EDTKANSAS CITY, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- UMB Financial Corporation (Nasdaq: UMBF), a financial holding company, announced income from continuing operations for the second quarter 2018 of $55.4 million, or $1.11 per diluted share, compared to $57.5 million, or $1.15 per diluted share in the first quarter 2018 (linked quarter) and $44.8 million, or $0.90 per diluted share, in the second quarter 2017. The reported GAAP income from continuing operations represents a decrease of 3.7 percent on a linked-quarter basis and an increase of 23.8 percent compared to the second quarter 2017.
