Wells Fargo Remains Sidelined on Square (SQ) Following 1Q

Wells Fargo reiterated a Market Perform rating and $42.00 price target on Square (NYSE: SQ) following the company's 1Q earnings report. Adjusted revenue of $307MM, up 51%, was $15.4MM above estimates. Subscription and services-based revenue of $97MM, up 98%, was $9MM above estimates.

Square (NYSE: SQ) reported Q1 EPS of $0.06, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.06. Revenue for the quarter came in at $307 million versus the consensus estimate of $292.86 million.
