VirnetX (VHC) Wins $502.6 Million in Federal Case vs Apple (AAPL)

VirnetX Holding (NYSE: VHC) won $502.6 million against Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) after a federal jury in Texas said Apple was infringing patents for secure communications, according to a report from Bloomberg. The jury said Apple infringed four communications patents.

Shares of VirnetX were set to open higher by 42% Wednesday morning.
