Quaker Chemical Announces Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2017 Results
February 28, 2018 4:20 PM ESTCONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., Feb. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Quaker Chemical Corporation (NYSE: KWR) today announced net sales of $211.1 million and $820.1 million for the fourth quarter and the full year of 2017, respectively, each representing a 10% increase compared to the prior year periods. The fourth quarter and full year 2017 net sales increases period-over-period were driven by volume growth of 6% and 7%, respectively. These strong volumes drove a 6% and 4% increase in gross profit over the comparable quarter and year, respectively, despite lower gross margins primarily attributable to higher raw material costs and changes in the mix of...
