Brown & Brown, Inc. Announces Quarterly Revenues of $474.3 Million, an Increase of 9.4%, and Earnings per Share of $1.32
January 22, 2018 5:01 PM ESTDAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Jan. 22, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Brown & Brown, Inc. (NYSE: BRO) (the "Company") today announced its unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter of 2017.Â
Revenues for the fourth quarter of 2017 under U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) were $474.3 million, increasing $40.7 million, or 9.4%, compared to the fourth quarter of the prior year, with Commissions and fees increasing by 9.3% and Organic Revenue (as defined below) increasing by 9.3%. Net income was $187.5 million, increasing $129.8 million, or 225.0%, of which $120.9 million was driven by the impact of the Tax Cut and Jobs Act of 2017... More
