Brookfield Business Partners (BBU) Announces Acquisition of Controlling 75% Interest in Schoeller Allibert for $247M in Partnership With Schoeller Group
January 5, 2018 5:36 AM ESTBrookfield Business Partners L.P. (NYSE: BBU), together with institutional partners, announced today that it has entered into an agreement to acquire a 75% controlling interest in the Schoeller Allibert Group B.V., one of Europes largest manufacturers of returnable plastic packaging systems for 205 million. The stake is being acquired from an indirect subsidiary of JPMorgan Chase & Co (NYSE: JPM) (J.P. Morgan).
