PolyOne Announces Third Quarter 2017 Results
October 25, 2017 6:38 AM EDTCLEVELAND, Oct. 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- PolyOne Corporation (NYSE: POL) today reported its third quarter results for 2017. GAAP earnings per share in the third quarter of 2017 was $0.49 compared to $0.51 in the third quarter of 2016. Adjusted earnings per share increased to $0.58 from $0.55 in the prior year third quarter. Special items for the third quarter of 2017 resulted in a net after-tax charge of $7.2 million, or $0.09 per share (see Attachment 1). Special items in the prior year quarter resulted in a net after-tax charge of $3.5 million, or $0.04 per share.
