Rice Energy (NYSE: RICE) traded lower Monday after EQT Corp. (NYSE: EQT) shareholder Jana Partners sent a letter to EQT management criticizing their merger. Jana has a 5.8% stake in EQT, which entered a merger agreement with Rice in June.
