Grainger Reports Results For The 2017 Second Quarter
July 19, 2017 8:01 AM EDTCHICAGO, July 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Grainger (NYSE: GWW) today reported results for the 2017 second quarter ended June 30, 2017. Sales of $2.6 billion increased 2 percent versus $2.6 billion in the second quarter of 2016. There were 64 selling days in the 2017 second quarter, the same as the 2016 second quarter. Net earnings for the quarter of $98 million were down 43 percent versus $173 million in 2016. Earnings per share of $1.67 declined 40 percent versus $2.79 in 2016.Â
