EQT Corp. (EQT) PT Raised to $85 at Stifel; 'Transformational Accretive Deal Positions EQT Well'

Stifel raised its price target on EQT Corp. (NYSE: EQT) to $85.00 (from $79.00) while maintaining a Buy rating, following acquisition of Rice Energy.

Analyst Karl Chalabala notes the acquisition is a transformative accretive deal for the company, allowing management to pivot towards free cash returns instead of production growth.
