Applied Genetic Technologies (AGTC) Announces New Data on its AAV-Based Gene Therapies for the Treatment of Achromatopsia & X-Linked Retinitis Pigmentosa
May 11, 2017 7:18 AM EDTApplied Genetic Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: AGTC), a biotechnology company conducting human clinical trials of adeno-associated virus (AAV)-based gene therapies for the treatment of rare diseases, today announced the presentation of new data from studies in animal models of achromatopsia (ACHM) and X-linked retinitis pigmentosa (XLRP) that support the companys clinical development programs in these indications. The data were presented at the American Society of Gene and Cell Therapy 20th Annual Meeting, taking place in Washington, D.C., May 10-13.
