April 28, 2017 11:23 AM EDTTOWNSHIP OF WASHINGTON, N.J., April 28, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Oritani Financial Corp. (the Company or Oritani) (NASDAQ: ORIT), the holding company for Oritani Bank (the Bank), reported net income of $24.3 million, or $0.56 per basic (and $0.54 diluted) common share, for the three months ended March 31, 2017, and $46.3 million, or $1.07 per basic (and $1.04 diluted) common share, for the nine months ended March 31, 2017. This compares to net income of $12.2 million, or $0.29 per basic (and $0.28 diluted) common share for three months ended March 31, 2016 and net income of $41.2 million, or $0.99 per basic (and $0.96 diluted) common share for the nine month period...
