April 27, 2017 4:34 PM EDTCANTON, Ohio, April 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- TimkenSteel (NYSE: TMST) (timkensteel.com), a leader in customized alloy steel products and services, today reported first-quarter net sales of $309.4 million and a net loss of $5.3 million or minus 12 cents per share. This compares with net sales of $217.9 million and a net loss of $9.7 million or minus 22 cents per share in the same quarter last year, and net sales of $214.7 million and a net loss of $67.0 million or minus $1.52 per share in the fourth quarter of 2016.
