UCFC Announces First Quarter Earnings and Successful Integration of Premier Bank & Trust Acquisition
April 25, 2017 4:10 PM EDTYOUNGSTOWN, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- United Community Financial Corp. (Company) (NASDAQ: UCFC), parent company of Home Savings Bank (Home Savings), announced today net income of $1.5 million and diluted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.032 for the quarter ended March 31, 2017. This included $3.3 million of acquisition costs (after tax) related to the previously announced acquisition of Premier Bank & Trust (Premier). Excluding these acquisition costs, the Company reported core net income (non-GAAP) of $4.8 million1 and diluted EPS of $0.0991.
