Morningstar, Inc. Reports First-Quarter 2017 Financial Results
April 21, 2017 4:07 PM EDTCHICAGO, April 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Morningstar, Inc. (NASDAQ: MORN), a leading provider of independent investment research, today announced its first-quarter 2017 financial results. The company reported net income of $18.0 million, or 42 cents per diluted share, compared with $28.7 million, or 67 cents per diluted share, in the first quarter of 2016. Â
Key Operating Metrics
Revenue for the quarter was $209.5 million, an increase of 9.1% compared with the same period in 2016.
