Morningstar, Inc. Reports Fourth-Quarter, Full-Year 2016 Financial Results
February 21, 2017 4:09 PM ESTCHICAGO, Feb. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Morningstar, Inc. (NASDAQ: MORN), a leading provider of independent investment research, today announced its fourth-quarter and full-year 2016 financial results. Net income in the fourth quarter was $70.3 million, or $1.63 per diluted share, compared with $37.3 million, or 85 cents per diluted share, in the fourth quarter of 2015. For the year ended Dec. 31, 2016, net income was $161.0 million, or $3.72 per diluted share, compared with $132.6 million, or $3.00 per diluted share, in 2015.
