MRC Global Announces Fourth Quarter 2016 Results

HOUSTON, Feb. 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- MRC Global Inc. (NYSE: MRC), the largest global distributor, based on sales, of pipe, valves and fittings and related products and services to the energy industry, today announced fourth quarter 2016 results.

The company's sales were $719 million for the fourth quarter of 2016, which were 26% lower than the fourth quarter of 2015 and 9% lower than the third quarter of 2016. As compared to last year, reduced customer activity across all segments and sectors drove the decline.
