Strayer Education, Inc. Reports Fourth Quarter and Full Year Revenues and Earnings; Winter Term 2017 Enrollments
February 16, 2017 6:30 AM ESTHERNDON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Strayer Education, Inc. (NASDAQ: STRA) today announced financial results for the three months and year ended December 31, 2016. Financial highlights are as follows:
Three Months Ended December 31
Revenues increased 5% to $119.3 million, compared to $113.7 million for the same period in 2015, principally due to higher enrollment, partially offset by lower revenue per student. Income from operations was $19.7 million, compared to $21.7 million for the same period in 2015, a decrease of 9%.
