Costco Wholesale Corporation Reports January Sales Results
February 1, 2017 9:00 PM ESTISSAQUAH, WA -- (Marketwired) -- 02/01/17 -- Costco Wholesale Corporation ("Costco" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: COST) today reported net sales of $9.08 billion for the month of January, the four weeks ended January 29, 2017, an increase of nine percent from $8.32 billion during the similar period last year.
For the twenty-two weeks ended January 29, 2017, the Company reported net sales of $52.26 billion, an increase of five percent from $49.98 billion during the similar period last year.
Comparable sales were as follows:
