CarMax Reports Third Quarter Results
December 20, 2016 7:35 AM ESTRICHMOND, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- CarMax, Inc. (NYSE: KMX) today reported results for the third quarter ended November 30, 2016.
Net sales and operating revenues increased 4.4% to $3.70 billion. Used unit sales in comparable stores increased 5.4%. Total used unit sales rose 9.1%. Total wholesale unit sales declined 2.2%. CarMax Auto Finance (CAF) income declined 3.2% to $89.4 million. Net earnings increased 6.6%, to $136.6 million, while net earnings per diluted share rose 14.3% to $0.72.... More
