Morningstar, Inc. Declares Quarterly Dividend; Increases Dividend to $0.23 Per Share
December 9, 2016 4:07 PM ESTCHICAGO, Dec. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The board of directors of Morningstar, Inc. (NASDAQ: MORN), a leading provider of independent investment research, today declared a quarterly dividend of 23 cents per share. The dividend is payable Jan. 31, 2017, to shareholders of record as of Jan. 6, 2017. The declaration reflects a 4.5 percent increase in the quarterly dividend to 23 cents per share from 22 cents.
While subsequent dividends will be subject to board approval, the company expects to pay three additional dividends in 2017:
