Ross Stores (ROST) Tops Q3 EPS by 6c; Issues Solid Outlook
November 17, 2016 4:04 PM ESTRoss Stores (NASDAQ: ROST) reported Q3 EPS of $0.62, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.56. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.1 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.96 billion.
Sales for the 2016 third quarter rose 11% to $3.1 billion, with comparable store sales up 7% versus a 3% gain in the prior year.
GUIDANCE:
Ross Stores sees FY2016 EPS of $2.78-$2.81, versus the consensus of $2.75.
