Fortis Reports Third Quarter Earnings of $127 million
November 4, 2016 6:06 AM EDTST. JOHN'S, NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR -- (Marketwired) -- 11/04/16 -- Fortis Inc. ("Fortis" or the "Corporation") (TSX: FTS)(NYSE: FTS), a leader in the North American regulated electric and gas utility industry, released its third quarter results today. The Corporation's net earnings attributable to common equity shareholders for the third quarter were $127 million, or $0.45 per common share, compared to $151 million, or $0.54 per common share, for the third quarter of 2015.
