Progress Reports 2016 Fiscal Third Quarter Results
September 28, 2016 4:15 PM EDTBEDFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Progress (NASDAQ: PRGS) today announced results for its fiscal third quarter ended August 31, 2016.
Revenue was $102.0 million during the quarter compared to $94.6 million in the same quarter last year, a year over year increase of 8% on an actual currency basis and 9% on a constant currency basis. On a non-GAAP basis, revenue was $102.4 million during the quarter compared to $100.7 million in the same quarter last year, an increase of 2% on an actual currency basis and 3% on a constant currency basis.

Progress Announces Appointment of Kurt J. Abkemeier as Chief Financial Officer
September 28, 2016 4:10 PM EDTBEDFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Progress (NASDAQ: PRGS) today announced the appointment of Kurt J. Abkemeier as its new chief financial officer. As CFO, Abkemeier will oversee the companys global finance and accounting operations and be a member of the company's executive leadership team, reporting to Phil Pead, president and chief executive officer. Abkemeier succeeds Chris E. Perkins, who informed the company in March 2016 that he would retire as CFO upon the appointment of his successor. Abkemeier begins as CFO at Progress on September 28, 2016.
