Tri-Continental Corporation Declares Third Quarter Distribution
September 9, 2016 9:47 AM EDTBOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Tri-Continental Corporation (the Corporation) (NYSE: TY) today declared a third quarter distribution of $0.2336 per share of Common Stock and $0.6250 per share of Preferred Stock. Dividends on Common Stock will be paid on September 27, 2016 to Common Stockholders of record on September 19, 2016 and dividends on Preferred Stock will be paid on October 3, 2016 to Preferred Stockholders of record on September 19, 2016. The ex-dividend date for both the Common Stock and the Preferred Stock is September 15, 2016. The $0.2336 per share dividend on the Common Stock is in accordance with the Corporations earned distribution policy.
