Gorman-Rupp Reports Second Quarter 2016 Financial Results
July 29, 2016 6:45 AM EDTMANSFIELD, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Gorman-Rupp Company (NYSE MKT: GRC) reports financial results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2016.
Net sales during the second quarter were $96.3 million compared to $103.9 million during the second quarter of 2015, a decrease of 7.3% or $7.6 million. Excluding sales from the New Orleans Permanent Canal Closures & Pumps (PCCP) project of $2.5 million in the second quarter of 2016 and $11.7 million for the same period in 2015, net sales during the quarter increased 1.7%. Domestic sales decreased 7.7% or $5.3 million while international sales decreased 6.7% or $2.3 million compared to the same period in 2015.... More
