East West Bancorp Reports Net Income for Second Quarter 2016 of $103.3 Million, up 5% from Prior Year Quarter and Diluted Earnings Per Share of $0.71, up 4% from Prior Year Quarter

(East West or the Company) (Nasdaq: EWBC), parent company of East West Bank, the financial bridge between the United States and Greater China, today reported its financial results for the second quarter of 2016. For the second quarter of 2016, net income was $103.3 million or $0.71 per diluted share.
