Ally Financial Announces $700 million Common Stock Repurchase Program and Declares Dividend on Common Stock
July 19, 2016 9:00 AM EDTDETROIT, July 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --Â The board of directors of Ally Financial Inc. (NYSE: ALLY) declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.08 per share of the company's common stock, payable on Aug. 15, 2016 to shareholders of record at the close of business on Aug. 1, 2016. Additionally, the board authorized a common stock repurchase program of up to $700 million beginning in the third quarter of 2016 and continuing through the second quarter of 2017.
