MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- U.S. Bancorp (NYSE: USB) today reported net income of $1,522 million for the second quarter of 2016, or $0.83 per diluted common share, compared with $1,483 million, or $0.80 per diluted common share, in the second quarter of 2015.
