Brown-Forman Board Announces 2-for-1 Stock Split and Declares Cash Dividend
May 26, 2016 4:39 PM EDTLOUISVILLE, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Brown-Forman Corporation (NYSE: BFA) (NYSE: BFB) Board of Directors approved a two-for-one stock split for all shares of Class A and Class B common stock to be paid in the form of a stock dividend.
Paul Varga, the companys Chief Executive Officer commented, The recommended two-for-one stock split reflects the companys confidence in our ability to sustainably grow our sales, earnings, and cash flow over the long term, and marks the seventh split in 35 years.
