May 4, 2016 3:47 PM EDTRBC Capital analyst Mark Mahaney reiterated an Outperform rating but trimmed his price target on The Priceline Group (NASDAQ: PCLN) to $1,600.00 (from $1,700.00) following a Q1 beat but lower guidance.

Wall St. falls as data adds to growth worries; biotechs down

NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. stocks declined for a second day on Wednesday, weighed down by tepid data on private sector U.S. jobs and a retreat in biotech shares.
Weaker-than-expected results from Priceline (NASDAQ: PCLN) added to the bearish tone.
The Nasdaq Biotech Index dropped 2.9 percent, its seventh session of losses out of the last eight.

Priceline shares tumble after forecast for slower growth
May 4, 2016 7:19 AM EDT(Reuters) - Priceline Group Inc (NASDAQ: PCLN) on Wednesday said its growth would slow in the second quarter as it spends more on marketing and as the timing of holidays shifts traveler bookings, sending shares down more than 7 percent in premarket trading.
The lower forecast overshadowed a first-quarter profit that exceeded expectations at the world's most profitable online travel services company.
