Weis Markets Reports First Quarter Results
May 2, 2016 11:45 AM EDTSUNBURY, Pa., May 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --Â Weis Markets, Inc. (NYSE: WMK) today reported its first quarter net income increased 51.1 percent to $20.1 million while earnings per share increased 50.0 percent to $.75 per share compared to $.50 per share for the same period in 2015. During the same period, the Company's operating income increased 57.4 percent to $31.3 million.
