East West Bancorp Reports Net Income for First Quarter 2016 of $107.5 Million and Diluted Earnings Per Share of $0.74, Both Up 17% from Prior Quarter

(East West or the Company) (Nasdaq: EWBC), parent company of East West Bank, the financial bridge between the United States and Greater China, today reported its financial results for the first quarter of 2016. For the first quarter of 2016, net income was $107.5 million or $0.74 per diluted share.
