Sterne Agee CRT analyst, Arvind Bhatia, sees physical electronic gaming continuing to decline but believes GameStop's (NYSE: GME) diversification can shield the company. He has a Neutral rating rather than a Sell because more than 30% of operating earnings in 2016 are expected to be derived from sources other than physical gaming and the mix is expected to be 50% by the end of 2019. Looking at the guidance however, the tone of his note is more negative.

Wedbush Cuts Price Target on GameStop (GME) to $36 Following 4Q Results

Wedbush maintained an Outperform rating on GameStop (NYSE: GME), and cut the price target to $36.00 (from $38.00), following the company's 4Q report and guidance. Sales totaled $3.53 billion, compared with the consensus estimate of $3.57 billion. Non-GAAP EPS was $2.40, compared with the consensus estimate of $2.25.

GameStop (NYSE: GME) reported Q4 EPS of $2.40, $0.15 better than the analyst estimate of $2.25. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.53 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.57 billion.
