Impax's (IPXL) Guidance Disappoints But Excludes Hidden Opportunity - RBC
February 23, 2016 7:00 AM ESTRBC Capital analyst, Randall Stanicky, cut estimates on Impax Laboratories (NASDAQ: IPXL) after guidance that was much weaker than expectations but notes that call options in the form of Welchol and Renvela are not embedded in expectations. No change to the Sector Perform rating but the PT drops to $40 from $48.
Revenue guidance of 15%+ was above consensus and reasonable. It reflects 12-14 generic launches including 6-8 ANDA approvals (of the 25 ANDA pipeline)... More

February 22, 2016 6:57 AM ESTImpax Laboratories (NASDAQ: IPXL) reported Q4 EPS of $0.62, $0.18 better than the analyst estimate of $0.44. Revenue for the quarter came in at $282.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $223.23 million.
